April 20 – 26 Days old
When we first started feeding Ellie fox milk it took a while for her to figure out what to do. When we would try to put the syringe in her mouth she would keep her mouth closed and we would have to slide the syringe in to get her to start drinking. But now she knows exactly what to do. As soon as we come near her mouth with the syringe, she opens her mouth and starts sucking. She no longer dribbles a lot of the milk down her chest or gets it all over her mouth. Instead it all gets in her mouth and she drinks it all. Today she had eight syringes in the afternoon and another eight at night.
